Do you know which Dillons carry Mentos gum? I looked for it at the Brookwood Dillons, and they don't have it.
I first checked at the 21st & Fairlawn Dillons (in the cash register lines) and couldn't find any.
Then I went to the 21st & Belle Dillons and found some just sitting ON TOP of the drink coolers in front of the cash register lines. There were about 4-6 packages of both spearmint and peppermint in front of register 6 or 7 (I don't remember which). Those were the only flavors I found @ Belle.
But because they are kept ON TOP, instead of in the normal gum displays (because the display box is upright, not flat), it makes me wonder if there were any at Fairlawn... I was so focused on looking in the normal gum/candy bar displays that I didn't look UP!
Oh, and THANK YOU Shannon for the cinnamon roll and mentos heads up. Mmm Mmm.
I don't get the Wednesday paper and usually don't ever get around to actually seeing the grocery store ads, so your summary is really helpful to me. :)
There was a huge bin of them yesterday near the front at the 29th and Urish Dillons. The same bin also had the Wrigleys slimpacks that a had a free coupon in a recent insert.
If anyone that knows me is going to Dillons between now and Tuesday, could you please get me a raincheck for the Mentos gum (quantity 4 if they ask)? I meant to get a raincheck and totally forgot. :(
