Garage Sale: Collins Park!

Today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday) the Collins Park neighborhood here in Topeka will be hosting a garage sale! I am sure there are many houses participating and some great treasures to be found!

I won't be around much today because I will be over at my garage sale! Come on by :)

Garage Sale!

I am a huge advocate of shopping at garage sales in the spirit of saving money! You can find quality kids and even adult clothing that is gently used and meet your needs.

Since I belive in garage sales so much, I am of course having one of my own. Three of my friends and I have teamed up to have a multi-family sale!

We will be selling BRAND NEW name-brand cosmetics, health/beauty items, medicine, etc.

Almost all items will be only $1! Some brands include Colgate and Crest toothpaste, Cover Girl makeup, Softsoap/St. Ives/Olay body wash, Garnier/Infusium/Aussie shampoo, every kind of medicine, baby products and much more!

We will also be selling quality name-brand men's and women's clothing (J. Crew, Eddie Bauer, Talbots, Gap, The Limited, Express) along with maternity clothing. There will also be kids clothing 0-5t up for sale!

Other items include:
Palm Pilot and other techno stuff
Baby gear: glider, baby bath tub, play mat, stroller/carseat combo, sit n stand stroller, etc.
Toys, games, books, cds and movies
Household items and décor

Priced hot to sell! Most items are .25 - $1, but worth much more!

Garage Sales!

Starting today the neighborhood surrounding the 1800 block of Pembroke ( in Topeka) will be having their neighborhood garage sale. There will be tons of kids clothes for ages 0-10 years old!

Some sales will be open today and ALL sales will be open Saturday for sure!

Kid's Closet Consignment Spring Sale

My apologies for not posting this sooner!

This started yesterday but you still have 2 days to shop! This consignment sale is located up in North Topeka at the Sunrise Optimist Club at 720 NW 50th St.

Today (8th): 10a.m.- 6 p.m.

Tomorrow (9th) : HALF PRICE DAY! Open from 9a.m. - 4p.m. Beware that not all items are half price. These will be marked so you will know.

It Was A GOOD Morning!

Here are some of the items I found this morning... a few were in use by the time I was able to snap a picture:)

I have had a list of wants and needs for children that has been waiting for garage sale season. It was as follows:

Tricycle for Seth (not a need but a want)
3T summer pjs
4t winter pjs
3t/4t casual shirts for summer (5-6 would be good)
size 8-9 sandals for Seth
size 8-9 tennis shoes for Seth

I woke up this morning at 6:30, grabbed my coffee, did a quick check of my email, and out the door I went to meet my friend. We were hitting up the Sherwood garage sales early! Before I met her, I do what I usually do, that is to pray that God would supply what I needed. He knows my needs, He can see my list, and He definitely knows that I rely heavily on garage sales to meet a lot of our clothing/toy needs and wants.

It was kind of slow going at 1st. It seemed that every sale we came to had nothing but girls' clothes. Thankfully, that is what my friend was on the hunt for! At the last few sales we came to I hit the jack pot, finally!

All for $25 dollars this is what I found:
1 Men's K-state t-shirt=$1 (my hubby can always use these!)
1 Women's Old Navy Puffy Vest for $1 ( not a need, but for a $1 you can't pass that up when you are on a tight clothing budget:)
5 pairs of summer sandals ranging in size 8-9 for only $2
1 pair of regular shoes for Levi=$1
6 casual 3t-4t t-shirts in great condition (church wearing even) =$4
1 pair of jeans for Seth (good for playing outside)=$1
2 pairs of 4t winter jammies=$2
3 pairs of 3t summer jammies=$3
1 tot spot chair=$1 (now we have 2 so there will be no fighting when Levi is old enough:)

And my best find of the day: A Roadmaster tricycle in awesome condition for ONLY $10!

I love it when God provides what I need and throws in a want like the tricycle, also! It was a GREAT MORNING and it was so fun to share with a friend!

Sherwood Garage Sales

I guess the Sherwood Garage Sales are going on this weekend! Some start tomorrow, but I hear the best time to go is Saturday morning.

One Last GS weekend?

Well I am sure there will be other garage sales going on through October but this weekend Lake Sherwood and the surrounding neighborhoods will be having their big Neighborhood Fall Garage Sale!

Starting tomorrow, the Colly Creek area in Topeka will be hosting their neighborhood wide garage sales! These are running tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday! This is the neighborhood around the 43rd and Gage area.

BIG SALE Saturday!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 6th there will be a huge sale you don't want to miss out on!

Good News Church located at I-470 and Burlingame Rd. is having a HUGE garage sale with 100 families participating! The sale starts at 8a.m. and will go until 3p.m.

Items being sold include appliances, furniture, tools, clothing, children's items and electronics. I am sure there is MUCH MORE aslo! Be sure to check it out!

Big Sale!

Heritage Christian School (housed in Northland Christian Church) will be having a HUGE sale starting tomorrow, Wednesday the 20th and continuing until Friday the 22nd. The sale starts at 7 a.m. every day and ends at 6 p.m.

There will be anything available that typically is at a garage sale plus some reading books and curriculum!
