So I spend 21.97 in EB and get back 21.47 in EB, I only burn 1.5 in EBs for all that!!! I look at it as getting 5 12 packs of Pepsi for only .50 total!!

2 packs of Yoplait kids yogurt for .25!

You can see where I got Yoplait kids yogurt for 1.13/6 pack here. However, a friend reminded me of the 1.50/1 coupon you could have printed a few weeks ago. For some reason I couldn't print it so I didn't have it to use.  However, if you have 2 of these coupons you can get 2 6ct. packs of Yoplait yogurt for a QUARTER!  Here is how:

• Go to shortcuts.com and download the .75/2 Yoplait products coupon along with the 1/2 Yoplait kids coupon to your Dillons card.
  
• Buy 2 packs of yogurt at Dillons= 2/$5
  
• When you purchase both packs, both of the above coupons will come off of your total (at least they did for me!)= -1.75
• Use 2 1.50/1 coupons= -3.00

Total= .25!!!

My Weekly Trip- Aug. 22nd

I shopped both Dillons and Aldi this week. Be sure to check here for more great savings from this week!

• 1 speedstick deoderant marked down to .99- used .75/1 doubled coupon to get this FREE!
  
• 2 Kotex 22ct. pads marked down to .99- used 2 1/1 coupons and got both FREE!
  
• 2 1/2 gallons of whole milk on MS for .50/1=1.00
  
• 2 packages of Dillons hot dog buns on MS for .49/1=.98 for both!
  
• 2 6ct. packs of yoplait kids yogurt cups on sale 2/5- used $1/2 mf coupon combined with the $1/2 shortcuts.com coupon and to my suprise the shortcuts.com .75/2 gogurts coupon came off also! I got both packs of yogurt for 2.25, that is less than the price of 1!
  
• 1.5 lbs of fresh peaches (4 total)=1.82
• 1 box of Cheerios on sale for 1.99- used 1/1 paper coupon combined with the .50/1 shortcuts.com coupon=.49!
• 2 packages of Kroger brand cream cheese=2.00
• 2 small packages of Fresh express salad on MS for .49=.98 for both- used 1/1 coupon to get both FREE!
• Folders gourmet whole bean coffee (hazelnut cream-yum!) on close out for 3.62-used .75/1 coupon doubled to get this for 2.62!
• 2 bags of Kroger brand tortilla chips=2.00
• 2 pace picante sauces on sale for 1.95=3.90- used 2 .75/1 coupons doubled to get both for 1.90, or .95/1!!
• 1 1/2 gallon of Turkey Hill tea=1.00- used 1/1 coupon to get this FREE!
• 1 bag of Gerber yogurt bursts=2.69- I have a coupon for a FREE mail in rebate for this product (found at K-mart) so it is really FREE!
• 1 package of Mission tortillas on sale 2/3- used .50/1 coupon doubled to get these for .50!
• 1 can of Private Selection black beans=1.00- used shortcuts.com 1/1 coupon to get this FREE!
• 2 1 dozen cartons of Dillons eggs=1.98
• 1 package of Dillons baby carrots=1.69-.35/1 coupon from Dillons mailer=1.34
• 1lb. of sweet potatoes=1.32
• 1 package of Kroger celery on MS for .99
• 1 package of Kroger grape tomatoes on MS for .99

I was also able to use a 1/$5 veggie purchase coupon as well! Total after coupons and tax was 28.94. If you subtract my FAR coupon it takes it down to 26.28 My reciept says that I saved 63%!!! If you calculate in all the other items I bought on MS it would be much more! Note: check here to see how you can get yoplait kids yogurt for .13/6 ct. pack!!!

Aldi:

• 1 bag of Bananas (7 total) marked down to .25 (a few are edible still, but the other will be used to make Banana bread- yum!)
  
• 1 10lb. bag of potatoes =3.69
• 1 3 cup bag of cheese=2.99 (this up from the previous price of 2.79! I noticed this wasn't the only "staple" item to increase)
• 1 package of brown sugar=.99
• 1 2 ct. pack of green peppers=1.29 (this beats the Hy-Vee price this week!)
• 1 Avocado=.99 (I have come to love guacamole!!!)
• 1 bag of onions=1.49
• 2 lb. carton of green grapes=1.98 (this beats the Hy-Vee price also!)
• 1 package of hamburger buns=.79
• 1 package of wheat bread=1.19

Total after tax was 16.88

My total for the week was 43.16... a little over budget but I am anticipating not spending my full budgeted amount next week since I am pretty well stocked!

Goldfish on sale at Target!

I went to Target this evening to do the .99 LUVS diaper deal and noticed that they had Goldfish crackers on sale 3/4! This is the BEST price I have ever seen for these crackers! Since my toddler thinks they are pretty much candy I gladly paid only 1.33 a bag!

Horizon Organic 2.99/gal

I was at the Dillons at 21st and Fairlawn this evening and noticed they had quite a few Horizon Organic 1 gallon jugs of milk on sale and they don't expire until the 26th!!! There were also many other milk and organic items in that section marked down!

Walgreens 5/20 coupon!

Rumor has it that a Walgreens coupon for $5/$20 purchase will be out soon and is good Aug. 22nd and 23rd. If you receive emails from Walgreens I would expect to see the coupon in your inbox today or tomorrow morning. You can also check Walgreens.com tomorrow to see if it is posted. Huggies Good Nights for 2.99!

The Dillons at 21st and Belle has Huggies Good Nights for girls marked down to 4.99 in the clearance section. The clearance at this store is just past the milk and juice, before you get to the meat. Use a 2/1 coupon from recent mailers or coupon inserts and get them for 2.99/pack!

Apple Market Deals

My apologies for not posting this yesterday like I said I would! Make sure you head on over to see Cara and check out the Apple Market deals for the week! There are some good ones! I also hear there is an Apple Market in Manhattan. Does anybody know if these stores are affiliated?

FREE box of Fiber One bars!

That's right! In my Dillons mailer a few weeks ago I got a coupon for a FREE box of Fiber One bars! I also got coupons for $/frozen bagged chicken, produce and meat! If you do not currently get these Dillons coupon mailers I suggest you call the customer service # on the back of your card and request to start receiving them.

I never knew these mailers exisited until about 9 months ago when a friend told me about her mailer. I called and asked Dillons how I could get these mailers and they told me all I had to do was shop there. Well considering I had been shopping at Dillons for 5+ years I figured I should be getting them! With in a a few weeks of my call I started getting the mailers. I have noticed they come about once a quarter and the coupons I get are based on what I buy most often. I usually get about 10-15 coupons or so in a mailer and they are so worth it!

We were in need of peanut butter and I was so excited to see Walgreens has a deal this week where if you buy $10 worth of certain items you get $4 in RR! Skippy and Ragu are apart of this deal and on sale for 3/5! Here is how my deal worked out:

4 jars of Skippy=6.66
2 jars of Ragu=3.34
5 boxes of Preperation H Medicated wipes at 3.99=19.95
1 box of dog treats=3.49
Total=33.44
-5 RR from purchasing Kellogg's products
-.60/1 skippy coupon
-.50/2 ragu coupon
-5 3/1 preperation H coupons for a total of -$15
-Peperation H Easy Saver coupon ($2/1) done fine 5 times= -$10
Total plus tax = 4.83 and I got back 4RR! So I really only paid .83 for all that!

Menu Plan for week of Aug. 18

Last week was a typical week where I didn't get to all items on the menu plan like I had hoped, so Chicken Macaroni will be eaten this week! Hope you all have a great Monday!

Monday: Chicken Macaroni/steamed broccoli/cantaloupe/homeade bread
Tuesday: Potato soup/homemade bread

Friday: Buffalo chicken Pizza/raw veggies
Saturday: Date night with the hubs! Chilis here we come!

Has anyone been yet? I did not make it yesterday like I intended and I am hearing that the women's razor may not be apart of the Schick deal.
