Sweet Potato Fries!

***This is a before picture***

I had never even heard of these until my husband ordered them at a restaurant in Manhattan, KS one day! I looked at him like he was crazy and then after I tried one I realized why he loved them so much. So I have then since come up with my own version of sweet potato fries:

Sweet Potato Fries: Serves 4

4-5 medium sized sweet potatoes
Olive Oil

All you do is cut the potatoes into a steak fry shape. Coat them real good with olive oil and put on a pan in the oven at 400 degrees. Cook for about 10-15 minutes and then turn. Continue cooking until they are done to your liking. Pull them out and salt and serve with honey mustard dip! YUM!

Wendy's $1 off coupon

Wendy's has recently come out with 2 NEW Frosty flavors: Coffee Toffee and Frosty-cino. As a part of promoting these new flavors they are offering a $1 off coupon. You can get that here!

Target: Good Pringles Deal

Well considering I have been having cravings for Pringles lately I was excited to score a pretty good deal on them at Target! Here is what I did:
  • Bought 2 cans of Pringles (super stacks) marked at 1.59/1=3.18
  • Use 2 .50/1 Target Pringles coupons here=-$1.00
  • Use $1/2 coupon in 4/5 P&G
Total for 2 cans=1.18 or only .59/can!!!

Be sure to see the rest of the AWESOME Target deals this week here!

**Did you make your card yet? I just did and it was so easy!!! Have fun with this today!**

Starting TODAY you can send a FREE 5x7 paper card from for any occasion! Since Mother's Day is right around the corner this might be the perfect reason to send one!

All you need to do is go here and create a paper card up to $3.49 in value (excluding cards with sound and invitation/announcement cards) . Be sure to personalize it and add photos if you want! When you go to check out enter the code CARD4MOM and not only do you get the card for FREE, but Hallmark will also ship it to the recipient for FREE!

While this free card maybe intended for Mother's Day it does not have to be a Mother's Day card. You can actually order any occasion card now for a future date and pick an arrival date up to a year from the date you order it. So for example if there is someone who you want to send a card to and their birthday isn't until July you can still use this free code for that also!

**LIMIT 1 FREE CARD PER PERSON. This offer is only available until 5/4/09 and you need to make sure you order your card on or before 5/1/09 to guarantee that your card is delivered on time for Mother's Day if that is the occassion you are using it for!**

Dillons: Yoplait Catalina

Currently at Dillons when you buy 20 individual cups of Yoplait yogurt you will get a catalina for $2 off your next purchase. When I was in the north Topeka Dillons on Saturday I noticed they had these regularly priced at .55/1
