Walgreens: $5/$25 coupon!

For Friday and Saturday only you can use this $5/$25 coupon. Remember your total has to equal $25 after coupons. Register Rewards are the exception to this rule. They still work like cash. Here is my plan:
  • Buy 1 Loreal towelettes=6.99 (FAR item)
  • Buy 3 Walgreens brand Ibuprofen 200=$10
  • Buy 1 scrubbing bubbles shower cleaner=19.99
  • Buy 1 Nivea body wash for men=4.99 (FAR item)
  • Buy 1 Lypsyl=1.99 (FAR item)
Total=43.96
- 1/1 Loreal coupon
- 2/1 Walgreens ibuprofen coupon (taken off 3 times)=-$6
-10/1 Scrubbing bubbles coupon
=26.96
-5/25 coupon
-$10 RR (from Dimetapp deal)
=11.96 + tax OOP

I will get back 28.97 in Rebates! That is an overage of $17 after I pay OOP!

Shannon--How are you get the Nivea and Lypsyl FAR this month? I don't see it on the list on-line or in the current ES book.

Thanks.

It is a "rain check" item this month so it won't be in the ES book. Most of the time it shows up on-line but it hasn't been. However, when you submit your receipt, even though you cannot check off the items, you should still be given the full rebate for it.

At Walgreens yesterday they wouldn't let me use a $10RR after the $5/25 coupon. The cashier said they got an email about it and that RR count as a manufacturer coupon and had to be before the $5/25 coupon. I was bummed.
