Dillons Savings

Before I handed over my Dillons card I noticed my total was over $100! As I watched my Dillons savings come off my total got down to about $55 but I was still holding my breath:) Finally after all coupons had been accounted for I breathed a sigh of relief as my total capped at 20.96 including tax. I saved 82%!

Where do you get these coupons? Home mailer? $1.50/$7 frozen food purchase coupon and a $5 of $50 purchase coupon
I have never gotten these

Yes I get these coupons in home mailers.... if you don't get coupons from Dillons call the customer service number on the back of your card and request you be added to the coupon mailing list. They say if you have a card you should automatically get them and they are based on what you buy. I had a Dillons card for 5 years and never got any coupons until I called requested them

I should have stopped and looked more closely at your coupon organizer when I saw you yesterday... what method do you use? It looked like a little box that fit just right in your grocery cart!! I've been using a 3 ring binder... and it's awkward to look through when I try to balance it on the cart. Do you have any pictures of your organizer? :o]

Nice work by the way!!! I should have followed you around the store... te he he.

I did use a 3 ring binder but it took me forever to organize my coupons in it. Now I just use envelopes. I have the same categories as I had in my binder but now they are all just in envelopes in a little Tupperware container. I don't have pictures but I will try and post some this week!

I already get coupons from Dillons via home mailers, just not any for X off of XX. Mostly just regular 35 cents off of vegetables and others like that. Maybe I dont spend enough to get those others you get.

This past week was the first time I have ever gotten $/$$ coupons and I am not sure that I have ever spent $50 in one transaction:)

Thanks Shannon! I am noticing that it does take FOREVER to organize them! It's nice when I'm done... but it sure is time consuming. Thanks for your blog :o)
