Yes, I have already been to the sale! A friend and I decided it would be worth it to become friends of the library in order to hit the sale tonight. It was a mad house and finding a "legal" parking spot was hard to come by, but I am so glad we went! I was able to find 23 gently used books and got them all for only 11.75! Some are in such good shape they will be good Christmas gifts!Hope you all have or had fun!

after waiting in the line early on Saturday for the past 2 years, I don't think it's worth it, as the line moves very quickly. I plan to show up sometime after 9 am. There is not much room around the tables on Saturday, so it will be crowded whether you waited for an hour before, 5 minutes before, or show up after 9 am. Of course, traffic gets slower as the day progresses.
I'm excited to get Kiefer some boy books. We have a ridiculous amount of books. In fact, I just got 3 Berenstain Bears and 8 Mercer Mayer books to add to Courtlyn's collection at a garage sale today for $3.00. But I don't have as many boy books. Seeing all your truck, fire engine and boat books gets me excited!
Did I see a Maisy book, Shannon? Courtlyn was obsessed with Maisy a year ago and we have a bunch of those if you want to borrow them. Also 2 Maisy videos.
Oh, and I see you got Barnyard Dance! We have a ton of Boynton books if you want to "check them out"! Boynton's are the best!
Shannon, do you think you will do the Friend membership next year? Do you think it was worth the extra to avoid the crazies?
