The Frugal Blog Map

I got word about this from Briana this morning and I think this will be so helpful!

Briana has created what she is calling the Frugal Blog Map. Here is what she has to say about it:
The Frugal Map has some unique features:
  • Frugal Map Function: Allows users to find a blogger near their location in an interactive map format.
  • Search Function: Allows users to search multiple blogs across the Frugal Map Network.
  • Hottest Deal RSS Feed: Gives users the most recent hot deals from the bloggers in the Frugal Map Network.
  • Specific Store Landing Pages: Allows users a one stop resource for for store deals including blogger store deal links, resources, and FAQ for the particular store.
  • Specific Blogger Landing Pages: Allows users to read more about their favorite blogs and connect with them via Twitter, Facebook, RSS, and specific store deal links.
  • Embeddable iFrame: Embed The Frugal Map on your blog as a resource for your readers.
Right now she only has 35 bloggers on the map and I KNOW there are many of you out there who blog. So if you want to be included please read submission guidelines along with the form here.

I look forward to seeing how many bloggers will end up on the map!

Menu Plan Monday

Hello! Below you will find my $50/week menu plan...as you can see we don't tire of homemade pizza! And with the INCREDIBLE cheese deal at Hy-Vee this past weekend I have enough for a while:) I am also proud to say that once again this week I have what I need for my meals. The only thing I needed for these was the biscuits to go with my gravy... which I picked up cheaply at Dillons because of the Pillsbury deal going! The rest of what I have bought this week has been cheese of course and a few other necessities like milk, eggs and produce.

Saturday: Pizza and raw veggies with dip
Sunday: Cheeseburger rolls x 3 (We sharing some with a family that just had a sweet little girl and then eating the rest this week for lunches.. YUM!) with broccoli and rice
Monday: Dinner at my parents for my dad's b-day
Tuesday: Salsa Chicken over rice (we didn't make it to this last week) with apple slices
Wednesday: Red beans and rice with bread
Thursday: Breakfast for dinner: biscuits and gravy with hash browns and fruit
Friday: Probably pizza:)

I'll post how I do Red Beans and Rice tomorrow... see you then!
