CVS Dec. 7th

Well there isn't much this week, but if you are looking for a way to "burn" some of those extra bucks you "made" from black Friday there a few deals you might be interested in. Below are the best deals I see:

Powerade 32 oz. select varieties=1.59
Get $1.59 back in EB=FREE!!! Limit 1

Buy $20 in Energizer batteries, get $10 EB back, limit 1
Prices start at 5.99

Use 1.25/1 coupons from recent inserts or 1/1 coupon here
  • Deal Idea:
  • Buy 4 packs at 5.99=23.96
  • Use 4 1.25/1 coupons=-$5
  • Total=18.96 and get $10 EB back=8.96 for 4 packs of batteries! Might come in handy for Christmas gifts!
Spend $25.00 and get $5 in EB back on Huggies products, limit 1
Jumbo pk. diapers or pull ups (excludes overnights)= $10.00
Huggies wipes or wash= $3.00
Use 1/1 or 1.50/1 diaper coupons
  • Deal Idea:
  • Buy 2 packages of diapers=$20
  • Buy 2 wipes/wash=$6
  • Total=$26
  • -2 1.50/1 coupons
  • total=$23, and you get back $5 in EB=$18 for 2 jumbo packs and wipes/wash. Remember you can turn the diapers in to caregiver's marketplace for $1 each. So your total will actually be $16 after EB and rebates. Not a great deal but if you need to burn bucks this is the way to go.
I don't have a plan yet but if I buy anything it will be the Powerade and diapers. Please alert us to any other great deals you might see. Don't forget to check out the December EB deals here!

Buying 3 packs of diapers is also a good deal. 3 x $10 = $30 - two $1.50 mf and one $1 mf = $26 - $5 eb = $21/3 packs = $7 each. With Caregivers it would be $6 a pack or $18 total. If you need diapers more than wipes/wash, you could do this.

Also, the Lifesavers bag candy is on sale for 2/$3. There are $1 mf coupons, so you can get these for .50. These would make good stocking stuffers.

If you are looking for ways to burn without buying things that aren't really needed. Diapers are welcomed at all pantries or women/children shelters. I know I won't use all the ECB's that I got with "Black Friday" and instead of adding to my stockpile...I am going to buy some diapers for that purpose!! I know the shelves are getting bare with the economy the way it is so all extra's are welcomed this year.

Side note.....some cosmetics are marked down 50-75% off so with coupons they are cheap...women shelters take those products as well!

Where do we find the beauty books put out by CVS??

I got 2 Huggies diapers and 2 wipes, as the wipes were on sale for $2.50, rather than $3.00! I have noticed that our area's prices are often somewhat lower than the ads on iheartcvs.com or moneysavingmom.com's posts.

Hunter and the kids came with me tonight, and he said we needed more Christmas lights. I was having a hard time forking over $12.99 for the box of 300 lights, 'cause I know they will go on sale after Christmas. Then again, I do have a lot of ebs from Black Friday. Well, I was pretty excited when they rang up and I saw on the screen "Buy 1, get 1 FREE!" I said, "Hunter, go get another one!" Hunter is an official coupon guy now! He was pretty proud of himself ;)

Also got 4 Rolaids moneymakers, 2 Lifesavers Gummisavers bags, the free Powerade and 15 free Promax bars (monthly deal)! I'm not sure if they are on sale this week for 3/$5 or if they are always that price. If it's just this week, you can get a raincheck.

Also, I finally found that Hallmark coupon book with the $10/$50 Hallmark purchase. It's cumulative, so you have from now until 12/25.

When I have gotten the CVS beauty books, they have been at the front of the store, where the weekly flyers are.
