The whole boneless pork loin is only $1.69/lb. The one in my freezer from Dillons sold for $4.69/lb. I didn't pay this much, but this is a great deal, and they are super easy to cook.
There is a coupon for $.75 on the red star yeast (not sure which insert). Also, $1.69 is an amazing price on the pork loin!! Have them cut 2/3 to 3/4 of it into 3/4 inch steaks. Marinate some of them in 1 can Jumex fruit nectar, handful brown sugar, and lime juice for broiling or grilling. (Can just throw them in the freezer with the marinade for later!) Cut some of them up for stews or stir-fry. Use the large piece for a pork roast. Brown it on all sides, then microwave on high for 5 minutes, then about 30 minutes in the oven (160 degrees on the meat thermometer). You can get so many meals out of this piece of meat, plus it's boneless and very lean!
I love that you always compare the prices to Aldi--that is so helpful. One day I'll have a price book in my head. But not today. Thanks for your help.
