FREE box of Fiber One bars!

That's right! In my Dillons mailer a few weeks ago I got a coupon for a FREE box of Fiber One bars! I also got coupons for $/frozen bagged chicken, produce and meat! If you do not currently get these Dillons coupon mailers I suggest you call the customer service # on the back of your card and request to start receiving them.

I never knew these mailers exisited until about 9 months ago when a friend told me about her mailer. I called and asked Dillons how I could get these mailers and they told me all I had to do was shop there. Well considering I had been shopping at Dillons for 5+ years I figured I should be getting them! With in a a few weeks of my call I started getting the mailers. I have noticed they come about once a quarter and the coupons I get are based on what I buy most often. I usually get about 10-15 coupons or so in a mailer and they are so worth it!

We were in need of peanut butter and I was so excited to see Walgreens has a deal this week where if you buy $10 worth of certain items you get $4 in RR! Skippy and Ragu are apart of this deal and on sale for 3/5! Here is how my deal worked out:

4 jars of Skippy=6.66
2 jars of Ragu=3.34
5 boxes of Preperation H Medicated wipes at 3.99=19.95
1 box of dog treats=3.49
Total=33.44
-5 RR from purchasing Kellogg's products
-.60/1 skippy coupon
-.50/2 ragu coupon
-5 3/1 preperation H coupons for a total of -$15
-Peperation H Easy Saver coupon ($2/1) done fine 5 times= -$10
Total plus tax = 4.83 and I got back 4RR! So I really only paid .83 for all that!

Menu Plan for week of Aug. 18

Last week was a typical week where I didn't get to all items on the menu plan like I had hoped, so Chicken Macaroni will be eaten this week! Hope you all have a great Monday!

Sunday: Bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches/cantaloupe
Monday: Chicken Macaroni/steamed broccoli/cantaloupe/homeade bread
Tuesday: Potato soup/homemade bread
Wednesday: Steaks on the grill/baked potatoes/peas/kiwi
Thursday: Salsa chicken over rice/apple and orange slices
Friday: Buffalo chicken Pizza/raw veggies
Saturday: Date night with the hubs! Chilis here we come!

CVS ?

Has anyone been yet? I did not make it yesterday like I intended and I am hearing that the women's razor may not be apart of the Schick deal.
