My Walgreens Trip!

Well I will tell you that 29th and Gage is the place to go for FAR items! They are out of the Nivea but have most other items. Many of our other stores have maybe half of the FAR items stocked. Here is how my deal ended up working out:
  • 1 Lypsyl=1.99
  • 1 Loreal=16.49
  • 1 water filter=6.99
  • 1 Crest=3.79
  • 1 Revlon nail polish=4.79
  • 1 Walgreen's acid controller=7.99
  • 1 Excedrin gel caps=3.99
  • 2 scrubbing bubbles scrubber kits=7.58
  • 2 bottles of shout spray=5.98
Total=59.59
- 10/40 coupon
- 2 2.75/1 scrubbing bubbles coupons
-2 .75/1 shout coupons
-1 .75/1 crest coupon
=41.84 + tax ( actually only paid 5.46 OOP b/c I paid with $39 in RR's from previous deals this week) I also got back 5 RRs from the scrubbing bubbles deal.

With my 5 RR's I turned around and purchased the chemistry hair care shampoo=7.99
-5 rr's= 3.59 after tax.

So I technically spent around $45 (not counting using rr's in the 1st transaction) and get to turn in 54.02 worth of rebates! I would have made more overage but the pharmacy coupon for the acid controller actually does not work and I used most other mf coupons at CVS this week.

I hope your deals worked out for you!

Thanks for posting that you used your RR's to pay for your transaction along with the 10/40 coupon. I did not realize you could do that! I tried it and it worked fine.I also went to the Walgreen's by your recommendation, they are very coupon friendly there.
The 3pk Quattro women's disposable razor was marked at $7.99, it is ringing up at $4.99, use the $4 off coupon and get them for 99 cents each!
