Not free, but cheap diapers!

This week CVS is running a special on Playskool diapers (CVS brand). These MEGA packs are on sale 2/19.99 or 9.95 a pack. I buy size 4 and 46 diapers comes in a pack. The great thing about these diapers is you can use a 3/10 CVS purchase CRT because they are a CVS brand! You can also go here for a 2/1 coupon! So here is the breakdown to get these for cheap!

2 packs of diapers =19.99
-3/10 CRT
-2 2/1 coupons
=12.99 for 2 mega packs of diapers! If you were buying size 4's that would be 92 diapers or .14/diaper. This is a lot less than you will pay for premium diapers! Most premium diapers run .19/diaper-.24/diaper even with coupons!

Now if you sign up your email and you have a 4/20 CRT purchase you can sweeten the deal! Just use that along with the other coupons and pay only 8.99 for 2 mega packs, or in the event you are buying size 4's pay only .09 a diaper!

Our CVS in Topeka has also confirmed that they will take expired CVS $/$$ coupons. So if you were lucky enough to receive any of those coupons this week in an email you can use these too even they are expired.

Since I stocked up on almost free diapers last week and the deals are pretty slim, I will likely not be making the CVS run this week. Have a great week and remember to check out other great deal scenarios here!

I got a $3 CRT for these, so that could be $1.95 a pack if you use the $3/$10 CVS as well as the $2 coupon. I have to say though, that when I have used them in the past, the quality is pretty poor.

Hey Shannon i think the potatoe price is due to many of the potatoe fields being flooded this spring, I think I read this on a sign at dillons in the potatoe chip aisle. hmm...

It is funny how some diapers just don't work for some kids. Playskool has actually treated us well... but some other brands sure haven't!

If you want premium diapers this week, here is a Target scenario that works and they will be about the same price as CVS (too bad they don't take ECBs).
1 Jumbo pack of Pampers $8.49
1 pack of wipes approx. $2.50
-$5.00 Target coupon for Diapers/Wipes (afullcup.com)
-$1.00 P&G Pampers
-$0.50 P&G Wipes
Total is approx. $4.50 for diapers and wipes!

Shannon, I wasn't sure where to post this. Feel free to move it...
Y’all are going to think I’m obsessed with free movie tickets! Well, I do love movies.

Ok, on the back cover page of the Kmart ad that began today (Sunday, 7/6), there is a sale on Reese’s candy bags, 3/$7. When you buy 3, you get a free ticket for the new Batman movie “The Dark Knight”, up to $7.00. You can get up to 4 free movie tickets, but they are all only good for “The Dark Knight”. A catalina prints out, and there is a code on it, which you enter online and print out your ticket. So you don’t have to mail anything in!

Well, at the Kmart on Wanamaker, they have Reese’s peanut butter cups miniatures (13.2 0z bag) with 10% more free, AND there is a seperate free movie ticket offer on these bags!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This movie offer does have to be mailed in, but you can mail all 4 requests in 1 envelope and receive 4 free movie tickets to ANY show, and the value is up to $8.50!! I checked, and both Topeka theaters are participating. Here’s the link with more info:

http://www.hersheys.com/megamovie/

So I got $62 worth of movie tickets and 12 bags of Reese’s candy for $30.08! I’m pretty excited!

And I am totally stocked for Halloween (or eating candy at the movies)!

PS - If anyone wants to trade 2 free “The Dark Knight” tickets for 2 packs of size 3 or 4 diapers, I’d be game…

I did Jill's diaper deal at Target today but made it even sweeter with a coupon (also from acupfull.com) for a $5.00 gift card with the purchase of Jumbo Pampers and Wipes. So I bought:
2 Jumbo Pampers 8.49 each
2 Wipes 2.39 each
1 Pampers Splashers 9.99
Total before Coupons $31.75
Used -$5.00 Target Coupon x2
Used -$1.50 Taget Coupon off Splashers (both from acupfull.com)
-1.50 off P&G Splashers
-1.50 off P&G Pampers
-2.00 off P&G Pampers
-.50 x2 off P&G Wipes
My total was $15.01 and I got $10 back in gift cards. I just wish I had more coupons to go back and do it again!
