Dillons: 9/15-9/21

Here are the best deals I see for the week. I only post the items that I think are a good deal and I determine this by considering the Aldi price. Therefore, you will not just see couponable items in this post.

**Don't forget to load your CELLFIRE e-coupons and be sure to check COUPONS.COM and RED PLUM for any NEW coupons!**

For questions regarding Dillons or if you don't understand some of the terms I use then please read the Dillons FAQ page HERE! If you still have questions please email me and I would be happy to answer!!!

All prices posted assume the coupon has doubled and I use this site here in compiling the coupon dates. All other information, such as Aldi's price, is from my memory bank:)

Take NOTE (from Dillons.com):
Digital Coupons Rules:
Limit of one coupon per item. Digital coupons and paper coupons may not be combined on the purchase of a single item.

Well there it is in fine print. It is honestly the first I have seen it and thanks to a reader for pointing it out. Dillons does not have the technology yet to stop this from happening but that doesn't dismiss the "rule" they would like us to follow. I will no longer be promoting the use of digital and paper coupons together. I will try to link you to both but will not promote the combined use of them. It is up to you whether you choose to combine both or not.

Just wondering... the coupon policy that was posted earlier this month from Dillon's said that you CAN stack digital and paper coupons at Dillon's and Gerbes. When you load coupons at dillons.com it jumps to a Kroger site -- is that possibly why it says you can't stack? Not interested in working the system, just trying to understand conflicting policies...

Good question! I am not sure. I do know from discussion with corporate that they eventually will cut us off from stacking because the manufacturers don't like the "double dipping"

I guess I don't really know what to do. I think for now I will stop promoting the stacking because I know in a short time it will be a thing of the past.

Bumblebee Tuna pouches are 1.oo each, and then there is a blinkie machine in front of them for .55 of each one. That doubles to make them free! I went to the store at 21st and Fairlawn and 29th and Urish and they both had the machines!

Here is my take on the "stacking." I don't agree with the stacking, BUT most of the time, my paper coupons are worth more than the digital coupon, so if I had to choose, I would use the paper ones, and I DO. However, the digital one, of course, still comes off. I don't feel like that's my fault, nor do I think I should be "forced" to use a digital one over a paper one. JMO :) Thanks for all you do Shannon! Look forward to your Dillons post every week! :)
