In the last weekend's coupon inserts there was a $1/1 Orajel coupon and attached was an explanation on how to get an $8 rebate for this item! This month at Walgreens the Cold Sore Brush or 8 Pack of Patches is FAR. You can also send in for the Orajel rebate. Here is how it works:
  • Buy 1 FAR Orajel item=8.49
  • -1/1 coupon

Yoplait Whips= .20/1!

As I posted last week Y0-Plait individual cups of yogurt are on sale 5/$3 until tomorrow (20th) at Dillons. There are .60/3 Whips coupons and .40/6 coupons on shortcuts.com that can be loaded on your card. There is also a .40/6 MF coupon to be combined with these. To my surprise this is how my Yo-Plait deal played out at Dillons today:
  • bought 6 Yo-Plait whips=3.60
  • -.60/3 Yo-plait whips shortcuts.com coupon
  • -.60/3 Y0-plait whips shortcuts.com coupon
  • -.40/6 Yo-Plait shortcuts.com coupon
  • -.40/6 MF coupon doubled=-.80
Total=$1.20 for all 6 or .20/1!!!

I wasn't expecting all 3 coupons from shortcuts.com to come off but they did which made for a very sweet deal! You never know, it might happen for you too if you have those coupons loaded on you card!

A few other good deals to be had:

Buy 1 Pillsbury Cresent Rolls=1.87
-.50/1 shortcuts.com coupon
-.25/1 MF coupon doubled=-$1.00
Total=.87! (Aldi price for their brand is 1.49)

Buy 1 Kroger Salad dressing=$1.49
-.75/1 cellfire coupon
Total=.74 (beats Alid off brand price of 1.19!!!)

Buy 1 Pull-Ups=9.99
-$2/1 shortcuts.com coupon
-$2/1 MF coupon
Total=5.99!!! Great deal!

To my knowledge these prices are good until tomorrow!

Menu Plan Monday for Jan. 19th

I have one repeat from last week because we did not get to it. My goal is always try to spend $40 or less on groceries (food items) for the week. I do this by shopping 2-3 different stores and trying to only pay what I know to be the best price. If you would like to see the best priced deals for the week in our area the can be found here and here.

Sunday: $ menu at Sonic
Monday: Dinner for my dad's b-day at my parent's house
Tuesday: Beef Stew/homemade bread/fruit
Wednesday: Lasagna/garlic bread/salad
Thursday: Chicken Macaroni/green beans/fruit
Friday: Pizza as always
Saturday: not sure yet

Happy Monday!

My CVS Trip -1/18

I was pleasantly surprised today when I received a 10/50 coupon from the coupon printer at our CVS! I was planning to burn some bucks but after this coupon I only burned 1 EB! Here is what I did:
  • 4 12 packs of Pepsi=$12
  • 3 bags of Lays chips=$9
  • 2 Rogaine for Men foam at 19.99/1=39.98
  • 4 Excedrin at 1.99=7.96
  • 2 CVS 5 ct. Allergy tablets at 3.79/1=7.58
Total before coupons=76.52
  • - 10/50 CVS coupon
  • - 2 15/1 Rogaine coupons=-$30
  • - 4 2/1 Excedrin coupons=-$8
New total=28.52, paid in EBs and a little OOP and got back 10 EB for Pepsi deal, 10 EB for Rogaine and 7.58 for the CVS allergy tablets=total of $27.58 back!

I did end up "burning" 1 EB, but I look at it as getting 4 12 packs of Pepsi for only $1!!!! and I can turn in my pepsi/lays stuff for the $15 in coupons rebate!

To see other deals for the week or where to print some of the coupons I used be sure to see this post here!
