Baked Strawberry Pie

The following recipe is from a friend of mine and it is super yummy!

Baked Strawberry Pie:

2 9 inch pie crust pastries

4 ½ cups drained, stemmed, halved strawberries

1 ¼ cup sugar

4 tablespoons minute tapioca

2 tablespoons cornstarch

½ teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon butter

Directions:

Mix strawberries with sugar, tapioca, cornstarch, and salt. Let stand while making crust. Spoon into crust. Dot with butter. Cover with top crust. Vent. Bake at 425 degrees for about 40 minutes.
