Walgreens 5/3

*UPDATED**

Below is my plan to "roll" some of my RR's from last week. After all my transactions and extra stuff I needed I ended up with $9 in RRs. Here is my plan:
  • Buy 1 Colgate Sensitive toothpaste=$4.49
  • Buy 1 Right Guard deodorant=$2.99
  • Buy 2 Pert Plus for Men =$5.00
  • Buy 1 Dawn Dish soap=.99 with in ad coupon
  • 3 .10 filler items (because I need more as many items as I do coupons... RRs also count as coupons unfortunately.)
Total=$13.77
  • Use $5 RR from purchasing the Nivea Body Wash last week
  • Use 2 $2 RRs (total of $4) fro purchasing Ecotrin last week
  • Use 1/1 any Colgate coupon or you can print one here
  • Use 1/1 Right Guard coupon
  • Use 2 $1/1 Pert Plus coupons here
  • Use .50/1 Dawn coupon from home made simple coupon booklet
New Total=.27 + tax. I will get back 4.49 in RR for the Colgate and $2 in RR for the Right Guard and $2 back for the Pert Plus=$8.49 back in RR. You can also send in for a $2.50 MIR for the Pert Plus making my total back $10.99 after RRs and MIR. After you subtract the 9 RRs I started with and the .27 OOP I spent I will make almost $2 in overage!

Be sure to see all other Walgreens deals here and here!

Shannon--won't you need one more filler item--since you have one less item than coupons and RR's? I thought they count RR's as a coupon and that you can't have more coupons than items. --Lila

Sorry for my opinion on this but this is exactly why Walgreens is so difficult!!!!

Lila- you are right and my prego brain wasn't even remembering that the RRs actually count as coupons. I really hope they change that!

At our local Walgreens, the Kids Essential drink packs are on clearance for $4.99 each. I received some coupons in the mail from a Dillons mailer for $10,$5,& $2 off. (They are manufacturer coupons, so they can be used at any store!).
I was able to get 3 for free today! :)
