There's a bit of a snag in your plan as the FAR item is on sale for $14.99 this week. Also, the Loreal skincare Qs say redeemable only at Walgreens on them.

This is what I bought:

L'Oreal FAR item=$14.99
3 bags of Hershey's Kisses (for Christmas baking=$6
Napkins=$2.50
2 Scotch tape (wrapping gifts)=$129 each

I used my 5/20, 2/1 L'Oreal, $1/3 Hershey kisses printable, $1/2 ES for kisses, B1G1 free in-ad for Scotch tape. My subtotal was $15.27, and I will receive $14.99 in rebate.

I'm new to this Walgreen thing. What is an FAR item and how do you know about / get the rebates?

Thanks!

FAR stands for free after rebate. You find out about these by picking up what is called an Easy Saver Catalog (found at the front of the store by the weekly ads. This contains coupons and a list of things you will get a rebate for when you purchase it.

You get the rebates by submiting them online at the end of the month. There should be instructions for you in the book or online.

You can also see this great post here about understanding walgreens better.
