See all Walgreen's deals with coupon links I used this week here!

4th Time is a Charm:)

Okay, so I confess that I went to 4 different Walgreen's this week in order to do this Huggies Wipes deal that had been talked about on other blogs. The 1st 3 Walgreens I went to on Thursday were out of all Huggies Wipes so I had all but given up.

I had to run a few errands this morning and thought for the heck of it I would stop by 1 more Walgreens to see if they had any wipes. To my luck this particular Walgreens had just gotten their truck in and on the floor of the baby isle were fresh unopened boxes of Huggies Wipes waiting to be put on the shelves. Well lucky for the stocking people I had a lot to buy so I saved them the trouble of unloading a couple of boxes:) Here is how my transaction worked out:
  • 14 tubs (64 ct) of Huggies wipes at 2.79/1 =39.06
  • 1 Goody Ouchless product=2.99
Total before coupons=42.05
  • -14 $1/1 Huggies Wipes coupons (I have my secrets:)=-$14
  • -$2/1 Walgreens back to school pamphlet Huggies wipes coupon=-$28
New Total=.05 + tax! I then got back a $2 RR for the Goody product!

So since my other Walgreens trip wasn't so profitable this one will make up for it:)

What's the Deal?

So I got my Kraft Food and Family magazine today and it had a bill in it??? I can pay $6.99 for a 1 year subscription. What happened to it being free?

Also do you all get coupons in your Kraft magazines? I for some reason do not... BUMMER!

Baked Ham Recipe

Below is my baked ham recipe. It is so easy and you can add or subtract meat to fit the number of people you are feeding.

Baked Ham: Serves ??? (you can decide)

I usually just buy a big boneless ham when they go on sale. For instance last week the Farmland Hams were on sale for .99/lb. and these are usually 6 lbs making this only $6.00! I usually only use 1/4 of the Ham for our family.

1/4 of whole 6 lb. ham=$1.50
1/2 cup of syrup=.25 (maybe?)
1/4 brown sugar =.10 (maybe?)

I just slice the ham and arrange the pieces in a shallow baking dish and drizzle with the syrup and sprinkle brown sugar on top. I then bake covered at 350 for about 30 minutes. I usually serve with steamed carrots and roasted potatoes... either sweet or red.

Tastes great and costs under $2!!!
